《经济学人》2026年8月22日号：当人工智能被当作“有意识的存在”
《经济学人》本期以“人工智能会不会拥有意识”为封面议题，追问人类如何判断、对待并约束可能被赋予道德地位的算法；同时关注西岸冲突、全球供应链、基础设施安全与气候技术。
《经济学人》本期封面提出一个不再只是科幻的问题：人工智能会不会拥有意识？文章并不急于给出肯定或否定答案，而是把焦点放在更棘手的后果上——即便机器并无主观体验，人类也可能因为它表现得像“有感受的存在”而赋予它道德地位。围绕这一议题，本期从大型语言模型、类脑芯片到哲学上的“他者”判断，铺开一组交叉讨论。
被当作“有意识者”的机器
封面社论《人工智能会有意识吗？》提出，关键风险未必来自机器真的苏醒，而是人类可能把拟人化回应误读为心灵证据，并据此重排责任、权利与关怀的边界。By Invitation 栏目中，布莱斯·阿圭拉-伊·阿卡斯(Blaise Agüera y Arcas)主张，人们并非先确认他者有意识才关心其处境，反而常是先产生关怀、再相信对方“有内在体验”；苏珊·施奈德(Susan Schneider)则提醒，不应把聊天机器人的智能表现直接等同于意识，同时也不能排除未来超级智能改变人类道德关切层级的可能。
从“看见一切”到守不住基础设施
